Open Plot Characters

These are "side" characters that can be played by any one at any time for the purpose of progressing the plot. They are usually plot-important, but play supporting roles. If they are a central figure, they are usually one who is referred to but not often involved in the "action" of day-to-day RPing. Feel free to post any "supporting characters" you come up with in the course of RPing; just make sure they are actually important to the/a plot.

Rules:

1. If you are going to utilize one of these characters, please make sure you stay true to their descriptions.
2. If you want to kill off one of these characters, please ask an admin first.
3. If, for whatever reason, you need to change something significant about this character (for example, they get seriously maimed or they are fighting for one side and defect to the other or something like that), contact an admin so that the character description can be updated.

Name: Douglas Atkinson

Age: 43

Power: None

Faction: Neutral

Physical Description: Physically, Douglas Atkinson is not imposing or intimidating in any way. He is actually quite short and rather soft around the edges, though his hard face and shrewd eyes more than make up for this. Usually he can be seen with a stoic expression or perhaps a bland, humorless smile drawn across his thin lips, and he typically dresses in a suit.

Personality: Calculating, shrewd, and diplomatic are three things one could use to describe Atkinson, and all have played important roles in getting him to where he is today. Clever and perceptive, Doug is exceptionally good at manipulating people without them realizing it, and if they don't cooperate, he has means of peaceful coercion to get them to do what he wants anyways. He is a humorless sort of man, easily annoyed by those who flout authority, though not easily angered. He keeps a cool, collected composure and is a hard worker, dedicated to his job.

Important things to Note: Doug works for the FBI under a special branch created for the monitoring and controlling of magical people. While the government has been careful not to persecute or attack the magical population in any way, they maintain a healthy caution about anyone with magic powers, especially as fanatical anti-war groups are starting to pop up. Currently, Agent Atkinson is in charge of collecting intelligence to try and determine the intentions of both factions as well as how the magical people operate. His job is to assess if the magical population is a threat, and he is quite objective in his calculations.

Atkinson has made contact with Lynx, Asher, and Tabitha. He resides in Coho City and is unmarried.

Name: Lewis

Age: 19

Power:Psychic Weapons

Faction: Anti-war fanatic

Physical Description: With his blonde hair and green eyes, Lewis could be considered quite handsome except for the cruel look often found playing across his face. He is tall and athletically built, with broad shoulders and chiseled features.

Personality: For someone who is supposed to be preaching “anti-violence,” Lewis is exceptionally cruel and, well, violent. He enjoys drawing out the killing process, choosing to use whips and other weapons that cause high pain but low damage in order to prolong the suffering. Although active in the anti-war movement, Lewis does not exactly believe in the cause; he just enjoys the freedom to use his powers how he wants, and his ruthlessness and strength have made him rather infamous. He is hot headed, proud, selfish, and vengeful.

Important things to Note:Lewis was recently involved in the Fanatic attack on a pharmacy in Mapleport. He came into contact with Enzo (who dealt him a fair amount of damage), Tabitha, Lynx, and Asher. Lewis suffered broken ribs and a kick to the face, but he survived the incident. Of course, now he’s pissed, and if he were to see any of the above mentioned characters, he is likely to try and kill them. Slowly, and painfully.

Name: Patrick

Age: 33

Power:Shamanism

Faction: Anti-war Fanatic

Physical Description: Patrick slightly tan skin, and has dyed blue hair to match his blue eyes. It's a strange look on an older man but Patrick doesn't seem to care.

Personality: Unlike the rest of the team that attacked the pharmacy, Patrick actually wants peace but not through such violent means. He only joined the Fanatics because they are the group with the most results. Patrick doesn't attack people, his skills are mostly used to gather information and to spy out other areas. His loyalty towards the Fanatics is waning and he could be used against the Fanatics if the right person persuades him.

Important things to Note: Patrick was also in the Fanatic attack on the pharmacy in Mapleport. He was almost drowned by Tabitha yet was saved at the last minute. Scared by all the violence, Patrick ran off, going back to hide at the Fanatic's hideout. If someone meets him he will not attack them and Patrick is looking for a way out of the Fanatics. He has good information about them he's willing to trade for safety.
