Quests will be moderated by an Admin and can be for a single person or multiple characters. The post order of quests goes: Mod post, characters participating, Mod post...
Here is an example:
As you can see Mod Posts narrate what's happening to the environment and further explains any actions the character does to the environment. This is very similar to Dungeon Masters from D&D. The example you read was taken from a previous rpg and all credit to the mod para goes to the original creator and her character, Marlene. Tabitha's post and character are Parrot's creation. Thank you.
Here is an example:
[Mod Post]
The glow was unnatural. Water wasn’t supposed to shine. Water was supposed to be quiet and transparent.
But the pond was glowing like it was made of hundreds little fireflies just above the water’s level.
The atmosphere, however, didn’t feel like there was anything wrong with it. Tabitha and every other water mage could feel that it was something strange, but not dangerous. It was Water, the same Element that was running in their veins, not something different.
As soon as the small drop of water fell from Tabitha’s palms into the pond, the light seemed to become stronger and it moved to the point where the drop hit the pond, like the water was calling for them.
But nothing happened yet.
[Character Post]
A smile graced Tabitha’s face as she saw the reaction, suspicion easily replaced by curiosity. She let fall a few more drops of the water, watching as the light gained in strength.
“Well aren’t you a strange thing,” Tabitha murmured to herself. Tabitha shifted so that she now sat before the pond, squirming a little bit so she could find a position she liked. The water mage contemplated what she should do next, her feelings torn into two different directions. Should she interact with the pond or wait for Marlene to come back so they could talk about it?
But the water…it was calling her: a siren’s song so strong that it even overrode her constant indecisiveness. Taking a breath Tabitha summoned water to cover all around her right hand, like a protective glove. The water was in continuous motion as it swirled around her skin, and Tabitha smiled again. She loved her connection to magic so much.
The Elemental plunged her right hand into the pond, quickly and abruptly so she couldn’t think herself out of it.
