Appearance: Dante is physically shorter than the average people his age, but besides that has an average enough body, neither particularly fit, nor unfit.
He has blue eyes that are very light blue, almost enough to become teal, but these are usually obscured by his glasses - semi-circular glasses that look slightly retro, but seem to look surprisingly 'right' on his face. The lenses themselves are prescription, as Dante is almost legally blind, so he is never seen not wearing his glasses, as he tends to slip into a panic if he isn't wearing them.
He has dark red hair, that grows down to the back of his neck - it remains somewhat messy but does not grow out very thick, reaching only the top of his neck. 

Personality: Dante is a quiet young man, whom tends to keep to himself and is very shy around just about anyone. Amongst non-magical humans and those of the Old Magic, he gets very nervous when talking to them and may even stutter when first talking to them. He feels that, because of his abilities, he will be extremely ostracised and possibly even threatened - from experience, this has often been the case. Even those of his own 'faction', the New Magic, he remains cautious around, though not quite as much, as he feels slightly more 'comfortable in what can be considered New Magic territory. While he is somewhat cowardly, he can be friendly enough once you gain his trust. 
Dante is terrified of fighting, and given the choice would prefer to flee instead of fight, or try to talk his way out of the situation if such a chance is possible. 
Despite being nervous of people, Dante likes walking around and exploring places, looking in all the nooks and alleyways to try and find new and exciting things that he missed before. He loves sitting down at benches in various parks or gardens, and it is practically the only place he truly feels at complete peace.
He also quite loves animals, particularly cats, but he will often pet animals, whom usually seem to be calm around him for some strange reasons, and try to feed them if he can.
He often reads if he can find books in the immediate vicinity, though he 

Strengths: Keeping to himself, he is typically able to pass without notice by a lot of people if that's what he wishes, which is almost all the time - he tends to blend into a crowd. His ESP abilities are strong, but also difficult to control, especially for long periods of time.

Weaknesses: Physically he is very weak, and can only really rely on his magic in order to defend himself. He has a severe case of near-sightedness, and without his glass he is practically blind.
He is also rather cowardly, and it takes a great deal of mental strength from him in order to stand and fight.

Biography: Despite being born to loving parents, Dante was always typically a quiet boy. His parents were very loving, but he was an only child and he still kept to himself throughout most of his years, typically hiding behind his parent's legs whenever someone he didn't recognise came in - it was a quirk of nature that followed his childhood, but despite this, for his youth people were quite nice to him, and though he was very shy he tried his best to be as social as possible given the circumstances.
His first day at going to a school in Coho City was quite frankly one of the most frightening experiences he eve had - so many new people that he found it difficult to process, and it took the teachers a lot of time and effort just to have him calm down and introduce himself, very quietly. Still, at first things went relatively well, although he had a bad habit of being picked on by bullies for a while. He quickly found 'secret places' that no-one else were able to find somehow on campus, which he often retreated to for most of the time between classes.
However, at one point during the 3rd grade, he found himself cornered in one his secret places - far away from the eyes of any other students or teachers - whom demanded his possessions. Cornered, and deathly afraid of them, Dante clutched his head and screamed in pain - the bullies fell down, followed by every student with 4 meters radius. The teachers rushed to the situation, finding an unconscious Dante at the epicentre of the psychic spike that could only have been a mental blast of incredible power. Shortly after this, he was signed up for 'special teaching', which had him spend even less time with students than before - this, combined with the attack against him, only made his shyness worse, as well as giving him a fear of violence.
Despite the setbacks, he did eventually graduate, and upon entry into high school he began experiments with ESP scientists, determined to find out what exactly made his skill at Mind Blasting so prominent for his age. Unfortunately, it was not until Dante graduated from high school that he was even able to use his ESP skills effectively, and only rarely with the same level of power - it was determined by these scientists that it seemed to be high levels of stress which unlocked his own mental barriers, allowing him to tap into an abnormal level of power - however, Dante's power remains typically weak at best, due to irregular practice and an unwillingness to get into fights.
For the last year, Dante has been having strange dreams - or rather, the same strange dream - a woman in white, reaching out her hand towards him, but before she is able to reach him she is wrapped in fire, a fire that doesn't seem to hurt her despite her ashes scattering away into the wind, before he wakes up in a cold sweat
Recently, hearing about the hostilities between Old and New Magic practicioners, Dante has done his best to make sure that he does not get enlisted to fight - his parents have supported him in this, but the experiments on Dante showed that, in the right potential, he could be a powerful weapon if war does eventually break out. Hoping to avoid such turmoil, Dante decided to go on a journey from Coho City to Mapleport, in hopes that the new experiences will give him an insight as to what to do with his life - and perhaps an insight into his dreams, which more and more he believes is some kind of premonition, or at least some strange message his subconscious is trying to tell him...

Other: He has a love for the colour white, and will often be seen wearing at least one piece of clothing that is white.
